Axe
Max
One of the barbarian's best advantages in weapons, good selection through all levels.

Bash
Max
Very useful offensively, and many locked doors can be bashed as well.

Battle Rage
Max
Kicks in during combat to majorly increase your damage. Higher chance if low sanity, and uses more stamina, but tends to be worth it.

Dagger
Max
Not terribly high damage, but useful for backstab later on and some good choices at various levels.

Dodge
Max
This is an essential defense, as are nearly all, but this is probably the most effective.

Enhanced Damage
Max
Increases damage dealt based on % practiced to, essential for the warrior.

Fast Healing
Max
Will help you recover hp faster, whether you are awake, sleeping or walking.

Hand to Hand
Optional
Some find this useful, especially coupled with a monk's martial arts, however weapon damage will almost always be better and it is rare you will find yourself without a weapon for long to justify maxing this.

Halberd
Do not practice
There aren't enough good halberds for this to be worth it, unless you are planning on camping most of your classes and doing a lot of questing. Maxing this would be mostly for show rather than good use.

Magical Items
Low practice
Works efficiently at low practice, used now for scrolls and some orbs, proficiency does not need to be above 5% or so to be effective.

Parry
Max
While this isn't very common, it is still helpful to have and worth practicing to better your overall defense.

Spear
Max
One of the common weapons with good damage and good availability, worth practicing as a main or backup.

Sword
Max
One of the common weapons with good damage and good availability, worth practicing as a main or backup.

Shield Block
Max
Not as common as dodge, but tremendously useful for blocking certain spells and projectiles.

Second Attack
Max
Adds a second attack(or at least a very likely chance of one) to your round of attacks.

Third Attack
Max
Adds a third attack(or at least a very likely chance of one) to your round of attacks.

Throwing Axe
Do not practice
Not very good damage, or very many choices, throwing weapons tend to be even less useful than the less common weapons.

Throwing Spear
Do not practice
Not very good damage, or very many choices, throwing weapons tend to be even less useful than the less common weapons.
