History
A former Advisor to King Sandoval Botanicus is well learned in the art of listening and offering advice. Chosen by the king to see out the Lords and Ladies of Alyria, Botanicus was sent to Lasler to learn how to fight against the Feys his race so desperately wished to contain. Being taught in the arts of the Paladin Botanicus learned to defend the cities of Rune and New Rigel as if they were his own, occasionally being sent to distant lands by Lord Agrippa or Lord Vashir on a quest.

As Botanicus grew in strength and in physical age he left Rune and New Rigel and traveled to the mystical city of Sigil where he learned of the bards, powerful thieves who could control the very essence of magic through their music. It took only a short while for Botanicus to become a respected bard and after such he traveled to the distant city of Tellerium.

Devoid of extrinsic magic, Tellerium posed a problem for Botanicus, but he was able to aid Lord Telleri as he had Lords Agrippa and Vashir. Seeking to enhance his magical abilities Botanicus studied under the druids of Xaventry, but found that Lady Undya sympathized with the Fey army and did not stay long in her city.

On his trek back to New Rigel Botanicus truly saw the North Star for the first time. He had always relied on his magical senses or his sextant for directions and not once gazed at the heavens above him. After returning to New Rigel, and purchasing a home there, Botanicus met Zydian, the leader of the Clan conveniently named 'North Star'.

In three years time Botanicus worked his way up through the ranks of the Clan of the NorthStar, offering his advice and his skills to those in need while the world of Alyria changed significantly. Agrippa and the other 'Quest masters' began limiting the aid they needed from their patrons, angering those who devoted their lives to helping their Lord or Lady. Even Lady Templeton, hidden away in her castle in the self named city mourning the death of her husband, stopped needing help.

Remembering his purpose on the mortal plane Botanicus was taught in the ways of the Wizard by Northstar, honing his magical being into a powerful creation. Botanicus is now part owner of the clan Northstar and uses his magical prowess to help those that he can. He has since visited such places as the lost city of Atlantis, explored the depths of Hellbent Mountain and even defeated the insane Simon Bloodbane. In an attempt to aide the lonely Lady Templeton Botanicus often time can be found venturing through the catacombs of the Tame, ridding the metropolis of the Queen's vile presence.

A friend of yours is full geared by a mob leaving behind valuable equipment, including two ST rings. There are Outlaws about. You have no way of trunking or lockering your gear in time before searching for his body. Your equipment is not the best, certainly no great prize, but difficult to replace. Do you risk CPK to help your friend?

if the area hasnt been mapped yet, i'd take out a phoenix quill and some parchment and trace my steps as i go to loot my friend. If it has been mapped i'll go loot the friend. In either case i die in the processes and get to see my king :>
