Character History

"O, the times when the young ones were running joyfully barefooted across the shore, I won't forget them. Now look at them, wielding their weapons of destruction."

The story of Dev begins perhaps in Ogre Village, where the ancient whompfish terrorized the local settlement of ogres, and claimed lives daily, for the purpose of self-norturing.

Nothing in the world tasted better to the whompfish than the ogres, and the population of ogres was at the doorstep of extinction.

On one day, a day so holy to the whompfish, it decided to conduct a holiday feast and personally float to the surface and be present with it's body in the ogre settlement.

It wreaked havoc.

It has eaten parents infront of their children, it has eaten children infront of their parents, chewing slowly.

It moved on, tearing apart huts to reveal the contents of the habitage and then eat it.

It came to an extraordinary crooked down hut and flang the roof off easily to reveal a small ogre child sleeping, "oh, sweet meat of the young".

It lifted the ogre up in the air and was about to consume it whole, but the ogre woke up, looked curiously at the world and the whompfish, yawned, and took a bite at the whompfish hungrily, tearing a huge flank of whompfish flesh off.

The cry the whompfish gave blasted the ear drums of several ogres, and it fled to it's hidden habitage, with it's tail between its legs.

"O, you brave ogre !" Walked Bentnose to the small ogre, who fell asleep again, lifted him up and shook him awake-
"I call you Devoured ! For you have devoured a piece of the ogre-devourer itself, and by that saving us, until the next time it strides in!".

The little ogre smiled and fell asleep again.

The whompfish retired to stealthly kidnapping ogres.

Dev grew up to leave ogre village before the age of 13, to seek for adventures outside the small area of his habitage.

Many scars on his body can tell many different stories.

After seeing the world, he began seeking for refuge in a closed circle, for he has been chased by the silly racists, and a circle so good natured, so pure, accepted him.

That's where NorthStar came into the picture, and that's when Dev became a part of something bigger, and mightier.

Northstar has become an integral part of Dev's life.
