Commands G-I
Get
If an item should catch your eye, or you accidentally drop something, you can recover the item by using this command. It will place the item in your inventory for future use.
Gold
This command shows you an up to date listing of what gold you currently have stored in banks, as well as how much you have on hand.
Give
If you wish to allow another player to have an item you may use the give command. The syntax is give < item > < player >. You may not give cursed items away, or items specified as no give. You may also transfer gold with the give command using "Give < number of gold > gold (or coins) < Player name >.
Grab
Another version of the equip command.
Guide
This shows a list of the available guides, players who are knowledgeable about the game, that are currently logged on
Hitch
You may desire to leave your mount at some point in time. If a hitching post is in the same room you can prevent your mount from being stolen or wandering off.
Help < subject >
Use this command to see informative files.
Hold
Another shortcut to the equip command.
Hint
This prompts for the hint channel. Not all cities have hints available, though most do.
Hide
If you have the skill, this command allows you to hide in a room, making you only detectable with sense life. When hidden you will be seen as ?€?Someone is hiding in the darkness?€?. You may also hide objects, which may be found with the dig or search commands.
Inventory
This displays a list of items you currently have in inventory.
Invoke
Druids may call upon the forces of Nature to protect them and aide them in battles. This command allows the druid to bring the elements into his own body protecting himself in many ways.
Ignore
If you are being harassed by a player you may ignore what they say, preventing you from being subject to their comments.
