  This circular room is dedicated to the spiritual regeneration known as
meditation.  A very comfortable, large, padded mat lies in the center.  Each
wall of this room is adorned with a different rune.  These runes completely
take up the walls and seem to pulsate with energy as they slowly shift
color.  At first their meaning is lost to you, but as you study one you
realize you no longer feel temperatures.  You look to the next rune and
discover you have lost your sense of smell.  After trying all of the runes
on the walls you realize they all generate effects designed to assist in the
isolation of one's mind from the world and bodily experience.  You walk to
the mat and lie spread-eagled, face up.  You notice a final rune on the
ceiling.  As you stare at it, a sense of peace and tranquility overwhelms
you.  You close your eyes as you prepare for meditation.
