  This area is reserved for practice fights and mock skirmishes between the
clan's members.  Although none are meant to sustain permanent or major
injuries from these activities, a floor mat prevents serious falls and the
nearby lobby offers retreat to safety.  A bit of dust in one corner speaks
to the infrequency of its use Northstar as a whole seems to have neither
attained the level of combat expertise nor fallen to the warmongering blood
thirst of other groups as yet.  Still, the room exists and friendly arena
matches may be carried out.  Enlarged diagrams and passages from training
manuals poster the walls, to match framed banners of succinct quotations by
famous warriors about victory and best strategy.  A set of exercise
equipment and realistic, magically animated manikins of several races
complete the room.
