Because of the informal nature, the tips will be listed
- NEVER get cocky. Pushing your luck will get you killed.
- Have music playing while you are in the proving grounds to keep your mind occupied
- Be aware of racial vulnerabilities cover yours and exploit mobs
- Stalactites and boulders are bad
- Shield block is a life saver against mobs that breathe (Hydra, Drake, Wyvern)
- Anything that has sorcerer, witch or might otherwise be a wizard type class, blind first, kill second.
- Be aware of times, if it is night time be more cautious in PK, if moons are new be more conservative on spells, if they are full, spam away.
- Don't take expensive equipment into PG. you WILL lose it.
- Take enough water to last for a while. food can come in the form of limbs, water cannot.
- Do not drop something in they Crystal Corridors you would want to keep. The rooms dispose of the items for you.
- If an earthquake starts, levitate, sit, and if you can room shield the area. This is the best protection you from falling masonry, falling in a chasm, and being dispelled. This however only lowered the chances, it doesn't get rid of them.
- Dream Weavers often pick up items people drop; if you can take them out, sometimes you can get good toys.
- Only no-fuse items are immune to fragging. Insulated items resist it.
- For those able, set up a sanctify room you can flee to if need be to aide in your regeneration.
