Where is your hall located?
East of Sigil, on an island off of Auryn.
Is Northstar anti-pk?
Not every single member, but a clan philosophy tends to be guided by that of its members and as it stands now most members either strongly dislike most types of pk or at least dislike participating in it. Most of our members take the consequences of pk very seriously, and one single member who pks can often bring more vengeance and wrath upon our mostly peaceful members than we would prefer.
What if I PK?
Then you probably won't fit in with our members. We are a very tightly knit but peaceful community and while we are not at all against a little healthy pride, too much focused energy on pk will likely alienate you from the clan and force us to place restrictions on you. Unless you plan to give up pk, you should probably consider a clan that is more friendly to it.
What if I am already in a clan?
At this time we do not allow members to have alts or other characters in other clans. Please consider making us either your permanent home, or looking elsewhere.
Will I have to root?
We do not have a rooting requirement. When at times we are looking to upgrade we ask for all able clannies(those with trunks preferably) to root, but it is completely voluntary. We also make occasional trips to PG by diamond for the convenience of lower level members.
What do you mean by "trial period"?
We just want to get to know the people who we are inviting into our clan. Therefore, to avoid clan hoppers and such, we give it a one to two week time period where the trial member has no title or privileges and we make sure that not only is that person a good fit for our clan but that the new member also feels comfortable with and is satisfied with their new home.
What are you looking for in a member?
While there is no formula for a good clannie, we are in general looking for good people. We prefer players who tend to have a peaceful Alyrian outlook but that does not mean you have to have a totally restrained personality. We value maturity, compassion and an interest in helping others, a keen interest in the details and knowledge of the game, and even the slightest of role-playing tendencies. While we are pretty flexible in terms of the character, we are definitely looking for appealing qualities in the player. This does not mean they have to be a saint by any means, just someone who fits in and is in general, nice.
