Temple of Gath

The virtual Temple of Gath is hot and bright. You see towering flames on either side of you and while you feel you are a safe distance from them, their heat overpowers you in waves. They seem to burn endlessly and in the same places without an obvious source of fuel. The pathway seems to be made of cooled lava, though you suspect that fresh flows may be dangerously underneath.

Cloaked amphibious creatures tend to the flames, and appear to be mixing the mysterious fuel that the flames of Gath burn on. These creatures are unaffected by the heat around them, neither sweating nor feeling the need to remove their heavy cloaks and better expose their forms to your eyes.

Visitors to the temple are gathered around a single flame at the end of the temple. It is no surprise to you that they are seen tossing in all sorts of personal objects and written prayers into this larger and seemingly more ominous flame. With each added item and each hushed prayer the flame seems to dance as if in response. Perhaps you should join the visitors and make your own prayer.
