Verity Isle: Preparation
Equipment
-For equipment, you should take off everything that is not insulated, because it is able to be fragged (will be damaged by fire, ice and lightning). There are numerous traps in Verity that will ruin equipment so make sure if you are going to wear it, it is either insulated or you have a spare. More than likely you will hit a trap at least once in your travels.
-Do wear body, arm and leg equipment even if it may not be insulated. You need a base level of AR to survive the traps and mobs there. In general, neck, wrist and finger equipment for level 60s frag. One notable exception is the bloodstone pendant (2strength) which is insulated. You might also want to bring along a sand ring because they are easily replaceable.
Tourmalines and Bags
-Your reason for going to Verity is most likely the Tourmalines you need to multi. Since these little stones are fragile you will need bags to store them in to protect them from traps. A few that are good to consider are: strong oaken boxes, blue velvet bags, bags of silver runes, gnomish bags, satchels, and dream clouds. The important thing to look for is if it is insulated or not. Many of the traps in Verity are fire or ice traps that will ruin things. A good number to carry is about 3 or more depending on what bags you have and how much they hold. If you plan on staying long and collecting many Tourmalines then 3-5 is a good number.
-Tourmalines weigh about 4 pebbles each so keep this in mind when determining how many you plan to get and what bags to bring. If you have 8 stones free in your inventory for tourms, you will be able to carry 200 tourmalines. Make sure you have enough bags to carry all of your tourmalines. Other things you need
-Some important must-haves are: a source of light(most of Verity is in darkness)( war banners are suggested) food and drink(and endless decanter is very useful), your bags, any reagents or insulated spell books you need and enough money to get there and back (25k there, 10k back). Make sure everything you bring is a must-have, since you don?€™t want to be burdened with too much and have to return to lose some weight. If you don?€™t have a locker already, this would be a good time to get one. Use it to hold all the equipment and accessories you don?€™t need for your trip.
